As the Principal of this college, it gives me a profound privilege and pleasure to inform that this institution is putting consistent efforts for more than seventy years to serve the nation at its best. The main focus of the institution is to empower the students with sound knowledge, wisdom, experience and moral values. A wide range of multi-dimensional activities are organized here which instill confidence in decision making and problem solving along with inculcating the soft skills. Modern changes in educational curriculum are introduced in the college with wide range of Skill-Oriented and Add-on Courses supported by updated library, labs, smart classrooms for inculcating the spirit of digitization of every event and activity among students. The college is situated in a huge building, offering courses in B.A., B.Sc.(Agriculture & Non-Medical), B.C.A., B.Com., M.A. (Punjabi & History), P.G.D.C.A, P.G. Diploma in Marketing Management & P.G. Diploma in Applied Agriculture. The College has also started three Vocational Courses: (B.Voc. Banking and Financial Services, B.Voc. Hardware and Networking and Advanced Diploma in Organic Farming).
The college has been re-accredited by NAAC in the third cycle with 'B+' grade.Our college has research guides in Physics and Punjabi approved by Panjab University, Chandigarh who supervise Ph.D research scholars.We are also going to promote more vocational and multidisciplinary courses for the overall development of the students.
